The 50 Plus Show: Ireland’s Premier Travel, Tourism and Lifestyle Event for Older People Returns to Galway

The 50 Plus Show, the travel and lifestyle event for older people, is coming to the Salthill Hotel, Galway on Tuesday 21st and Wednesday 22nd May.

The organisers point out that the free admission show is ‘informative,  entertaining end educational’ and while it offers visitors everything from tax advice to cookery demonstrations it also  provides  hotels and hotel groups around the country with a unique platform to promote their hugely popular ‘Golden Years’ packages.

As a result numerous hotels will be taking part, including An Chúirt Hotel, Brian McEniff Hotels, Four Seasons Carlingford, Knock House Hotel, Hotel Ballina, Select Hotels, Westport Hotel Group, Westport Woods Hotel and Sligo Southern Hotel.

Said show organiser Brian McCabe: “The seniors market has become  pivotal   for more and more hotels as it  provides a unique  opportunity to boost occupancy in the less busy mid-week periods. Also, we invite officers of Active Retirement Groups who often make block bookings for their members trips.”

Mr McCabe said that even at this late stage they still have a few  stands available.
