
Killashee Hotel has been granted an official ‘Great Place To Work’ certification for a second year running.
Killashee Hotel’s journey with Great Place To Work started in 2022 through the Employer Excellence programme, that was launched with Fáilte Ireland. Certification is based solely on the employee experience and their feedback which is captured through an annual survey.

Commenting on the certification Ger Alley, General Manager Killashee Hotel said: “What has been hugely important is providing our people with a voice and implement changes based on their feedback. Since Killashee started its journey with Great Place To Work in 2022, the hotel has been actively developing a positive working environment where everyone is encouraged to reach their full potential. The focus has been placed on improving all key people pillars starting from basics of investing in staff facilities, with training, learning and development opportunities, improved communication channels, culture programme, company core values launch, established culture champions, introduction of recognition system, engagement strategy, performance management to succession planning and future proofing the business.
