Kerry Airport Begins Search for New Chief Executive

Kerry Airport has formally begun the search for a new chief executive.

Kerry Airport has officially been without a permanent CEO since the end of last August, when John Mulhern – chief executive for the previous six years – formally completed his term.

The airport is looking for a candidate with experience delivering capital or infrastructure projects and, preferably, with an airport/aviation industry background.

A knowledge of Irish and European aviation regulatory is also called for, as is a track record of stakeholder engagement and an influence at senior level.

The airport is looking for someone who can secure new airline routes for Kerry and who can build strong relationships with government, regulators, airlines and partners.

Kerry Airport said: “Reporting to the board, the CEO has full executive accountability for the airport’s commercial performance, strategic direction and long-term sustainability. The role ensures safe, compliant and high-quality operations while strengthening regional connectivity and maximising stakeholder value.”
