Ireland Attracted 522,000 International Visitors in March; Spending €559m While Here, ITIC Figures Show

Just under 522,000 international visitors were in Ireland during March, latest monthly figures from The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) show.

The figures show that – on a combined basis – they spent €559m while here.

March traditionally accounts for about 7% of annual tourism numbers and last month international visitors spent an average stay of 6 nights in the country.

ITIC’s Tourism Dashboard is published in association with AIB and, using a variety of data sources including the CSO, identifies international visitor numbers by key source market.
