Fáilte Ireland Appoints Dónall Curtin to Board

Tourism Minister Catherine Martin has appointed Dónall Curtin to the board of The National Tourism Development Authority, or Fáilte Ireland, to give it its everyday name. Mr Curtin will serve a 5-year term.

Minister Martin said: “I am delighted to announce this appointment and am very grateful to him for taking on this very important role and offering his skills and expertise to The National Tourism Development Authority.”

Chairperson of Fáilte Ireland, Ruth Andrews said: “On behalf of the Authority and executive team at Fáilte Ireland I would like to welcome Dónall and congratulate him on his appointment. Dónall brings with him a wealth of experience in the areas of Corporate Governance and Finance that will bring significant value to the Authority, to Fáilte Ireland and the wider tourism sector.”
