Dublin ranks as one of the top 20 European tourist destinations for foodies, according to TUI Musement‘s latest gastrotourism review.
The capital is ranked 20th in the list – which is based on Google searches – and ranks only slightly behind the likes of Edinburgh, Milan and Seville.
The top 10 list – From Lisbon to London: TUI Musement Ranks Europe’s Top 10 Gastro-Tourism Hotspots | ittn.ie – features three Italian cities (Rome, Naples and Bologna), but also the likes of Madrid, Paris London, Porto, Athens, Amsterdam and Lisbon. The second half of the list also includes a further three Italian cities (Florence, Milan and Venice); whilst also including Prague, Budapest and Barcelona.
TUI Musement said: “Anyone who enjoys the exciting flavours of Northern Europe should consider Edinburgh and Dublin, where pubs, classic dishes and modern cooking make the foodie scene ever more interesting.”
