
Dublin ranked as the second most popular flight destination out of the UK last year.
New figures from aviation analytics firm Cirium show that the biggest international destinations for UK departures, last year – based on seat capacity – were (in order): Amsterdam, Dublin, Dubai, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca, Malaga, Tenerife-South, Barcelona, Paris CDG, and New York/JFK.

Overall, more than 1.98 million scheduled flights departed or arrived into UK airports last year. More than 357.6 million seats were available departing and arriving into UK airports.
Furthermore, London Heathrow to Dublin was the third single busiest route to/from the UK last year; only behind Heathrow to New York/JFK and Heathrow to Dubai.
