Dalata Completes Maldron Wexford Sale; Reiterates Commitment to Irish Market

Dalata Hotel Group has officially completed the sale of its Maldron Hotel Wexford to the Neville Park Hotel Group.

As previously announced, the net proceeds from the transaction are being returned to shareholders through a share buyback programme previously announced on October 15 2024. Dalata said it remains committed to the Irish market and its remaining Irish portfolio.

The Dublin-headquartered group is the largest hotel operator in the country, through its ownership of the Clayton and Maldron hotel brands. It also has a growing presence in the UK and mainland Europe.

The sale of the Wexford hotel – and the potential sale of Clayton White’s Hotel; Dalata’s other Wexford property – were first reported in September.
