Hayleigh Joyce, Chef de Partie at Clontarf Castle Hotel has been announced as the 2026 Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) Dublin Branch ‘Employee of the Year’.
The announcement was made at an awards reception in The Mont Hotel, where guests gathered to celebrate and recognise 31 nominees from hotels and guesthouses across Dublin who have made an outstanding contribution to their workplace.
IHF Dublin Branch Chair, Janet Moore said “It is a privilege to recognise the many individuals who drive our hospitality sector forward. These awards celebrate those shaping the future of our industry and the hotels across Dublin that are championing talent through commitment, creativity and leadership.
At the event, IHF President, Michael Magner congratulated all nominees and said “Our nominees represent the very best of our profession that thrives on dedication, innovation and the development of its people. There has never been a better time to start a career in tourism and hospitality in a sector that supports 270,000 livelihoods across the country, including over 77,000 across Dublin.”
Hayleigh joined Clontarf Castle Hotel in 2023 after graduating from Coláiste Íde with a qualification in Professional Cookery. Since then, Hayleigh has received several nominations for ‘Team Achiever of the Month’ within the hotel. Colleagues say that “Hayleigh is helpful, understanding and patient particularly when assisting new team members through their onboarding journey. She motivates and supports her team daily with genuine positivity and an unwavering smile”.

- ‘Heart of Hospitality Award’ to Carmel Lynch from Clayton Hotel Charlemont
- ‘Outstanding Team Member Award’ to Stephanie Cronin from Maldron Hotel Newlands Cross
- ‘Standards Excellence Award’ to Sergio Toledo Saneiro from Hyatt Centric The Liberties
- ‘Visionary Excellence Award’ to Andrei Halițchi from Carlton Hotel Blanchardstown
