Center Parcs has, reportedly, confirmed to RTÉ that it will not be renewing its current sponsorship of RTÉ Radio One’s ‘Ryan Tubridy Show’ – the eponymous presenter of which is at the centre of the ongoing payments scandal currently engulfing the national broadcaster.
Just how linked the two events are is unclear, however, with the Journal.ie reporting that the popular adventure park company – whose sole Irish park is in Co Longford – had always intended its tie-in to be a 1-year agreement and that it had no plans to renew it anyway.
However, the Journal also said RTÉ was hoping to renew the agreement; and suggested there is now the possibility of Center Parcs walking away earlier than planned.
