
Center Parcs Ireland saw profits rise 14% and revenues grow by 4% in its last financial year, newly-filed accounts for the company show.

The adventure holiday park business – which has one Irish location, in Co Longford – generated pre-tax profits of €11.1m for the 12 months to the end of last April, with revenue for the same period amounting to €101m. The accounts show operating profits increased 13% to €33.3m.
Occupancy at the resort – while slightly down on the previous 12 months – was still a very healthy 97.6%.
Center Parcs Ireland is currently undergoing a major €50m expansion – which will boost guest capacity by 3,500 people at any given time and see expanded common areas and nearly 200 new cabin accommodations being built.
