Tourism Ireland has been promoting the island of Ireland to thousands of Italian travel professionals over the past few days, at TTG Travel Experience in Rimini, Italy’s largest B2B travel show.
A total of 10 companies from Ireland joined Tourism Ireland at the three-day event, meeting influential tour operators, travel agents and travel media. Over 450 commercial meetings were conducted on the Ireland stand.

Tourism Ireland was highlighting city breaks to Cork, Galway, Belfast and Dublin for autumn and winter to the travel professionals attending the show – a key message in the organisation’s autumn programme of promotions in Italy. Tourism Ireland also promoted Halloween as an iconic reason to visit the island of Ireland in autumn.
Speaking ahead of the event, Marcella Ercolini, Tourism Ireland’s Manager Italy, said: “Tourism Ireland is delighted to be back at TTG Travel Experience once again this year. Our presence in Rimini this week is a valuable opportunity for our partners from the island of Ireland to showcase their product and connect with leading Italian travel professionals, to negotiate inclusion in their programmes for 2026 and beyond. Around 450 commercial meetings are taking place on the Ireland stand this week. Our goal is simple: to create meaningful connections between small businesses from the island with Italian travel professionals who can bring visitors at scale.”
