Supplier Spotlight: Air Canada’s Winter Service To Toronto, New Route To Delhi, Sales Blitz & More

As the Air Canada summer season comes to a close and we say a bientôt to the highly popular Dublin to Vancouver and Montreal flights until next summer, the focus turns to Air Canada’s year-round Dublin-Toronto service. The Toronto service will serve Dublin to Toronto daily until the end of October and then 4 times weekly from November to March when daily service resumes.

Operating using the B787-9 Dreamliner aircraft in 3 cabins, Signature, Premium Economy and Economy class the Toronto service is ideally timed for connections throughout Canada, the US and of course for popular winter sun destinations like Punta Cana, Cancun and San José, Costa Rica.

Of course, Air Canada’s winter services are not all about the winter sun. Skiing in Canada has become popular with Irish ski enthusiasts in recent years and with Air Canada’s “skis go free” programme, serious winter sports enthusiasts with their own ski equipment can check these in free of charge.

It’s never too early to book for Summer 2025 and Air Canada’s summer 2025 schedule has been announced.  Besides the year-round Dublin to Toronto route which will be daily from March, the ever-popular Dublin-Vancouver will be back mid-June 2025, with a 3 times weekly operation till the end of September and the Dublin -Montreal service is back with 4 times weekly operation from the beginning of June to the end of September using the 3-cabin B787-9.

Keep an eye out from 7th October as the Air Canada sales team make their way around the island on their annual 2-week sales blitz.

As usual the blitz ties in with Canadian Thanksgiving, which this year falls on 14th October. The tour of the island is an opportunity for Blaithin, Bernadette and colleagues from London to say thank you to the Irish trade for their support this year and to spread some autumn cheer. There will, of course, be delicious chocolate treats on offer and a competition to win a pair of Signature Business Class tickets on Air Canada!

Air Canada Signature Service

Air Canada Signature Service, which will feature in this year’s sales blitz is Air Canada’s end-to-end premium travel experience featuring the Air Canada Signature Class cabin, formerly known as International Business Class and is available on all departures from Dublin.  Air Canada Signature Service ensures a seamless airport experience with dedicated check-in counters, expedited security clearance, lounge access, exclusive boarding lanes, priority baggage handling and more. On board, Air Canada Signature Class customers are treated to exclusive service and amenities: Fully lie flat Executive pod beds, a 3-course dinner menu with plenty of choice, fine wines, champagnes and cocktails and an Acqua di Parma amenity kit.

New Delhi flight

Air Canada will launch a new daily non-stop seasonal winter service between London Heathrow Terminal 2 and Delhi.  Flights will be operated with Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring a choice of Air Canada Signature Class, Premium Economy and Economy class service.  Operating daily starting October 27, 2024 up to March 28, 2025 with connections on Aer Lingus to London Heathrow
