Winter in der Region Wilder Kaiser.

It represents a well-established, high-performing product with decades of repeat Irish business, strong brand recognition and a proven reputation for value, access and quality.

Söll is a recommended choice for first-time skiers, thanks to its accessibility, full-day ski school availability, competitive pricing and ease of movement around the wider SkiWelt area. With over 179 kms of piste, there is something for every level, from beginners to advanced skiers, even though it is not a high-altitude resort. One of the biggest advantages for Irish skiers, is the quick and easy access from Munich for short breaks! With 90 lifts and 80 mountain restaurants, the experience is hard to beat.

Söll offers a great range of accommodation, from excellent 4-star superior, 4-star, and 3-star hotels to plenty of reasonably priced B&B pensions and apartments for those seeking value. Prices in the resort are very reasonable too! A large beer comes in at under €6 and local Austrian wines offer fantastic value as well.

As a long-standing winter favourite, the resort continues to feature prominently with Ireland’s key ski operators such as Crystal Ski and Topflight, while also offering agents a direct booking route via the official Wilder Kaiser platform (www.wilderkaiser.info), through which accommodation, lift passes, transfers, dining and experiences can be arranged easily for travel agents building dynamic packaging.

Söll is well located – with easy access from Munich Airport – perfect for short breaks

Söll is located approximately 1.5 hours from Munich Airport, with daily Aer Lingus services from Dublin and seasonal winter flights from Cork. The resort can also be reached via Innsbruck or Salzburg in similar transfer times, creating three airport options suitable for packaging short-break itineraries, late-season value holiday departures, as well as traditional week-long stays. There are also excellent transfer services with Four Seasons/Tirol Taxi and other local transfer companies.

Car hire from Munich Airport is also a great option, just be sure to request winter tyres if you’re travelling in January or February. The drive to Söll is straightforward and mostly motorway with only the final 20 minutes on smaller roads, so you can feel confident and reassured about the journey.

Something for the Whole Family – a superb choice of apres-ski activities!

Söll offers night skiing, lift-accessed family toboggan runs, guided winter walking routes, snow-shoe trails and touring across the region – ideal for families and groups!

Accommodation & Hospitality

Accommodation standards in Söll are shaped by its family-run hotel culture. We particularly liked Hotel Greil, a four-star Wine and Gourmet hotel with spa facilities, premium dining, wine collections and the only dedicated Riedel Room of its kind in Europe, alongside a panoramic indoor pool overlooking the Wilder Kaiser peaks.

Many hotels include breakfast, afternoon snacks, multi-course evening dining and full wellness access as standard.
