Inside the Most Expensive Restaurant in the World, Where Dining Becomes Art.

The most expensive restaurant in the world is Sublimotion in Ibiza, Spain. It’s an exclusive and innovative experience for 12 diners every night.

The first gastronomic performance created to increase the pleasure of eating out. Sublimotion offers a hyper immersive multi sensory 20 course dining experience. A new performing art which aims to join gourmet cuisine with technology and staging. Sublimotion has it’s own artistic cast, made of multi-awarded artists and from creative director Eduardo Gonzales to  magician Jorge Blass. The table acts as a stage in this multisensorial experience.

It has been described as “the Willy Wonka dining experience that will blow your mind ” Sublimotion was set up on the White Isle of Ibiza three years ago. It comes out of the mind of Paco Roncero, two Michelin-starred chef and one-time El Bulli employee, and one of the world’s greatest culinary talents, who has taken an idea and run with it. And continued to run.

It is also rumoured that guests may wear VR headsets to create for 3D visual effects. The menu is secret, with each course utilising touch, temperature and technology to create unique dishes and flavours. Your glasses are continuously refilled with Dom Perignon, as well as vintage wine pairings with each course. So what is the cost of this experience you may ask? it comes in at an eye watering €2,000 per person.

No plans to head to Ibiza soon? Sublimotion is coming to Las Vegas in the near future, marking the 12-year-long endeavor’s first foray into the North American market, following similar Sublimotion experiences launching in Saudi Arabia and Dubai. Dining at Sublimotion promises not only a gastronomical experience but a truly unique show that will awaken all your senses.
