Swan Hellenic Announces ‘Legacy of Wine: The Atlantic Voyage’ Old World Wine Cruise

Luxury expedition cruise specialist Swan Hellenic has announced a new cruise for wine lovers – Legacy of Wine: The Atlantic Voyage – which will sail from Lisbon to Portsmouth in May.

Partnering with Champagne Castelnau, this exclusive trip explores Portugal, Spain, and France’s stunning Atlantic coast with a strong focus on wine and Old World wine culture

The cruise runs from May 12 to May 21, 2025.

Guests will enjoy cultural highlights, including the Gothic Jerónimos Monastery in Lisbon, the medieval streets of Saint-Malo, and Bilbao’s iconic Guggenheim Museum. Activities range from guided hikes along Brittany’s dramatic Cape Fréhel cliffs to sampling oysters on the Emerald Coast and exploring Mont Saint-Michel. 

Wine enthusiasts will join Master of Wine Keith Isaac on a journey through Old World wine culture. The voyage includes guided vineyard tours, expertly curated tastings, and food pairings that highlight the rich traditions and history of winemaking in Portugal, Spain, and France and celebrates the Old World wine culture.
