Building work began last month. MSC World Asia is scheduled to debut in 2026 and will follow in the footsteps of MSC World Europa and MSC World America.

In total, MSC has two further World Class ships on order; with one being the aforementioned MSC World Asia.

MSC World Europa is currently the only one in the new series of vessels actively sailing. MSC World America will debut in the Caribbean, sailing out of Miami, next April. She underwent a rigorous 2-day test sailing session just last week.
