CLIA RiverView Conference 2025: That’s a Wrap!

And, that’s a wrap on the CLIA RiverView Conference and post familiarisation trips 2025.

I want to thank CLIA for the inclusion and all the cruise liners that hosted me, including: AMA Waterways for the pre-conference VIP night; Scenic and TUI for hosting me on their ships during the conference; A-Rosa for a fabulous international women’s day lunch at the famous Four Seasons Budapest; Uniworld for the amazing train experience with Golden Eagle Luxury Trains; APT Travelmarvel for rooftop cocktails, for opening the conference with stunning opera singers (who sang the Bruno Mars and ROSÉ song APT. in operatic style… and since hearing it, it is now living rent free in my brain…; and for closing the trade fair in true APT style with a barista stand that served Irish and Baileys Coffees as a gentle nod to their Irish heritage.

Finally, thank you to Emerald River Cruises for hosting me on the post-fam and to Riviera Travel for hosting ITTN’S Louise on her post fam trip as we sailed from Budapest to Vienna. (Separate ship reviews will be post throughout the week).

Thanks to all the Irish for the craic and the chats and all the friendship of the UK, Australian and American travel professionals that I spent time with.

I’m already looking forward to 2026 – and if cruise is part of your future sales-model then I encourage you to get onboard too! This sector is on the up, and fast.
