Staycity Sees Corporate Bookings Recover to Pre-Covid Levels

Staycity – the pan-European ‘aparthotel’ operator – has seen corporate and business bookings bounce back to pre-Covid levels of demand.

The company said this month has seen a 10% like-for-like increase on the same month in 2019.

The introduction of an online check-in option and an enlarged commercial sales team have helped boost corporate bookings, Staycity said, and on the back of the surge it has introduced a larger room type.

Rooms have been altered to cater more accurately to business users’ needs – such as the introduction of desks – and booking windows have been changed. The company operates in Ireland, the UK, Italy, Germany and France and will open in Portugal and the Netherlands in the next 18 months.
