Dalata Sees Boost in Business Bookings

Dalata Hotel Group – which owns the Clayton and Maldron hotel chains – has said it has seen a strong recovery in corporate booking demand, as well as the well-documented uptick in everyday leisure demand.

“Dalata looks forward with confidence to the summer trading period as demand is robust across all markets. We continue to see a strong mix of corporate and leisure business boosted by the return of international travel and sustained domestic demand,” it said in its recent trading update.

A lot of its city rooms – particularly across the Clayton brand – are booked by business travellers.

Dalata said it generated earnings of more than €100m in the first half of this year.
