Aer Lingus Seeing ‘Some Signs of Recovery’ in Business Travel Bookings, But Still Below Pre-Covid Levels

Aer Lingus has said while its business/corporate travel bookings are still below pre-Covid levels, they are showing “some signs of recovery” in the early part of this year.

The airline’s total financial performance is not yet at 2019/pre-pandemic levels of profitability, but, likewise, is improving.

Aer Lingus’ latest results – as part of parent group IAG’s annual financial results – show an operating profit of €225m for 2023. That marked an increase of €168m on 2022 and was driven by strong demand for leisure travel on both short and long haul routes.
