USA Covid-19 Test Requirements End Sunday

It will no longer be a requirement to provide a negative Covid-19 test ahead of travel to the United States.

This will become effective from midnight on Sunday, 12 June.

According to RTE, this decision follows heavy lobbying from the travel industry and is ‘based on science and data that this requirement is no longer necessary’.

The Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is set to review this decision in 90 days.
