Scenic Unveil Thirteen New Luxury Voyages

Ultra-luxury cruise operator, Scenic have unveiled thirteen new voyages with the release of their brand-new Scenic Eclipse Australia, Indonesia, and the Pacific Islands collection for 2024. For the first time, guests can combine Scenic’s discovery ocean voyages with land journeys and city stays.

Here we take a look at just two of the new excursions available:

Easter Island, Polynesia

The remote volcanic Easter Island in Polynesia is famous for its 900 iconic moai human head structures created by inhabitants during the 13th – 16th century. Visit the stone village of Orongo and the island’s largest crater Rano Kau, home to the island’s largest and most important archaeological site. Hike the Terevaka Volcano and enjoy spectacular 360-degree views of the territory. Look out from one of the island’s traditional observatory sites during an evening stargazing experience and learn about how the ancient Polynesians used astronomy.

Take a trip to Anakena Beach for a spot of swimming, surfing, and snorkelling. Natively named Rapa Nui, Scenic Eclipse II will make its first visit to the island with the twenty three day ‘Journey Across the Pacific: Easter Island & French Polynesia Voyage’. The cruise sails from Santiago to Papeete ; visiting Robinson Crusoe Island, Alexander Selkirk Island, Hanga Roa (Easter Island), Pircairn Island and Fakarava.

Fiji

Blessed with dramatic peaks and sun-drenched white sand beaches, the Yasawa Islands in Fiji is the quintessential paradise. Visit Sawa-i-Lau, an island famous for its limestone caves, which are accessed by climbing stairs from the beach, passing a small door, and then jumping into the larger cave’s pool.

Walk through the villages of Fulanga Island and watch the locals carve outrigger canoes and wooden bowls. Glide through the waters in a kayak or stand-up paddleboard and enjoy hikes discovering the island. Uncover sunken wrecks, wall dives and coral-lined tunnels on an underwater exploration on Bega Island and see pelagic fish, sharks, blue ribbon eels and octopus.

Journey to Vauna Balavu Island, home to natural hot springs, volcanic landforms, and a huge lagoon. Explore Fiji on the 15-day Reefs & Volcanic Isles: Tahiti to Fiji, departing from Papeete and calling at Bora Bora, Aitutaki Atoll, Palmerston Island, Alofi, Vava’u, Fulanga Island, Vanua Balavu and Ovalau before arriving in Nadi.

Guests booking an Australia, Indonesia, and The Pacific voyage will save up to 20 percent when paying in full 12 months prior to departure. Alternatively, guests can add a land journey to any voyage or combine two consecutive cruises to save up to 20%.
