Restrictions that were imposed by Airbnb last summer are being brought back this season in an attempt to curb large parties at their properties, according to The Associated Press.
In the US, Memorial Day (May 30) and Independence Day (July 4) are particularly popular times for parties and the aim is to curb these get-togethers. Parties thrown at Airbnb properties in spite of the ban may result in legal action.
In addition to these restrictions, renters who have a less than positive review on Airbnb will not be able to make one-night reservations.
Customers who hold good personal ratings on Airbnb won’t be affected by the one-night reservation rule.
