Breaking Free with NCL in Dublin

Yesterday evening (22 March 2022) Jack and Allie from ITTN attended Norwegian Cruise Line’s first Dublin Roadshow in the Gibson Hotel, Dublin.

It was a lovely evening which started with some food from different regions, highlighting the many dining options onboard the NCL ships. This was followed by some updates, key destination information and cruising tips for 2022 from Gary Anslow (Senior Director of Sales UK & Ireland), Ingrid Hunt (Senior Head of Marketing, UK and Ireland) and the NCL team Nigel and Kirsty, Business Development Managers in the UK. It’s great to see that eleven of NCL’s ships are back on the sea to date and we’re excited for the launch of Norwegian Prima in 2022 and Norwegian Viva in 2023. Norwegian Prima will be launched in Reykjavik, the city’s first ship launch.

Aaron Fletcher, the newly appointed Business Development Manager for Ireland was there to meet the travel agents and chat about plans to expand the Irish market. It was great to meet Aaron to congratulate him on his new role.

There were of course some prizes on the night. There were some spot prizes under the seats and our own Jack Goddard won a voucher for Brown Thomas. The big prize was a €250 voucher for Brown Thomas which Alana Monahan from Tour America won.

Overall it was a great opportunity to catch up with travel agents and NCL team and we look forward to seeing Aaron, Ingrid and the team very soon.

I have worked in the travel industry for seven years, from working in American Holidays and The Travel Corporation I have a wealth of knowledge of all aspects of travel. Before joining ITTN I worked for Facebook which gave me the inside knowledge of the wonderful world of social media. I have a BSc in Event Management and am also a qualified beauty therapist (which definitely comes in handy in this business). Recently I joined the AWTE Ireland committee and I am enjoying working with and connecting with the network of women in travel.
