Austrian ski resorts have been opening over the last week or so, and all resorts will be fully open next week, in time for the very busy Christmas and New Year holiday season.
To celebrate how important the Irish market is to Soll, in the Wilder Kaiser region of The Austrian Tirol, part of the Ski Welt ski area, the Soll Tourist Board have invited RTE 2FM’s Breakfast Show out for yet another visit to Soll, with a broadcast live on the slopes on Monday 12th December from 6 am to 9 am.
Doireann, Donnacha and Carl will be taking to the slopes, experiencing the best of Austrian cuisine and hospitality, and checking up on some of the local music acts which will be part of Soll Ski and Rock in January and March of next year, and enjoying the general ambience of this very popular Ski Resort – a home from home for the Irish for many years!
And of course, they will be talking about Soll Ski and Rock, which is back again, with popular Irish DJ Jenny Greene in the line-up to play a set.
