Virgin Atlantic to Launch Routes from Heathrow to the Maldives and Turks and Caicos

Virgin Atlantic has announced new services to the Maldives and Turks and Caicos for winter 2023.

Routes to the dreamy destinations will operate from Heathrow, three times a week with winter seasonal flights to the Maldives commencing on 22 October 2023, followed by a twice-weekly year-round Turks and Caicos service starting on 15 November next year.

Fares for the new routes have yet to be announced – tickets for the Maldives will go on sale on 30 November, while those to Turks and Caicos will be available from 11 January 2023.

To celebrate this, Virgin Atlantic Holidays has announced a seven-night package to the Maldives – which will go on sale tomorrow (Friday, 18 November) – priced at €2,712 per person based on two adults travelling together, and including flights and bed and breakfast accommodation at Hard Rock Maldives.

Commenting on the announcement Juha Jarvinen, chief commercial officer at Virgin Atlantic, said:

“We couldn’t be more thrilled to add these two exotic new routes to our flying portfolio. Nothing sets our hearts soaring like a new destination to explore, so, with two about to join our network, there’s only really one question. Where to first?

The Maldives has always been an incredibly popular destination for Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers, which is why we couldn’t wait to give them the opportunity to travel to the idyllic location in style onboard Virgin Atlantic aircraft.”

Virgin Atlantic will go head-to-head with British Airways on both routes.
