Aer Lingus Going Back to US West Coast

ITTN hears that Aer Lingus plans to recommence direct flights to the US west coast in March 2012, using the A330 in a two-class configuration. The route will form part of the carrier’s response to the Minister for Transport’s request for new routes in return for removing the travel tax. San Francisco and Los Angeles (but not San José) are in the frame, with LA the likely winner.
