Etihad Airways has expanded its commercial team in Ireland with the appointment of four additional sales positions. The team recently moved to new spacious and modern offices in Dublin 2.
Liza Hammond has been appointed Account Manager, Northern Ireland. Liza, who will be based in Belfast, has more than 15 years’ experience in the travel trade, starting her career with Thomas Cook before moving to BMI, where she held a number of positions including Key Account Manager and Business Sales Executive for Ireland.
Three further positions have been created within the sales department. Alan Glover has been promoted to Corporate Sales Manager Ireland, Karen Maloney has been promoted to Leisure Sales Manager Ireland, and Linda Dougal appointed to Sales Support Ireland.
Linda recently joined the sales operation having previously worked at the destination management company Aereps and BMI. The trio recently took up their new appointments and report to Dave Walsh, the new Country Manager Ireland.
Dave Walsh said: “The growth of the Irish sales force reflects the growing importance of this market for Etihad Airways. We are pleased to welcome Liza and Linda to our commercial team and congratulate Alan and Karen on their new roles.”
