Travel Department is hiring for a Customer Service Executive.

We are currently seeking a full time Customer Service Executive to join our Customer Correspondence Department.

Your role will include but will not be limited to the following duties:

  • Providing professional and focused customer service
  • Handling new and existing booking queries, feedback, compliments and complaints received
  • Logging enquiries and customer correspondence
  • Assisting with refund claims and liaising with insurance companies
  • Notify the relevant departments of errors regarding tour loading, itineraries and published content

This role involves managing the info@ mailbox on a daily basis and would include the following:

  • Dealing with new and existing booking enquiries
  • Logging and acknowledging complaint and compliment emails
  • Replying to feedback emails and following up to ensure that customer’s comments are taken on board
  • Liaising with the Operations team in the event of a live customer complaint to resolve the issue
  • Processing cancellations and providing customers with the required documents for insurance purposes
  • Liaising with accounts to locate bank transfers
  • Provide advice to customers in regards to their passenger rights under EC261 regulations
  • Provide customers with clear and correct visa information
  • Updating customers marketing preferences

Skills & Experience required:

  • Excellent written English
  • Word and Excel knowledge is essential
  • Basic understanding of the travel industry
  • Excellent geographical knowledge
  • Good organisation skills and ability to prioritise workload
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with data entry
  • Confidentiality with information

Salary / benefits / etc. for the right candidate:

  • Working days / hours: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday (a mixture of both home and office based work)
  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • 1.66 days annual leave for every month worked
