Florence Bans Evening Strolls

The evening stroll has been banned in the historic centre of Florence in an effort to control overcrowding.

Only those eating or drinking will be allowed amble about the city centre between 9pm and 6am, according to Florence’s mayor Dario Nardella.

The new ordinance will be in place until the end of the pandemic and anyone breaking the rules can be fined up to €1000.
