The position requires the successful applicant to:
- Ensure the Ireland Annual Operating Plan is achieved
- Exceed revenue, passenger targets and PPG’s for the three brands via all channels in Ireland
Key responsibilities will include:
- To manage the relationship with the assigned accounts and work with all levels within these accounts
- To develop and implement a range of initiatives, including sales incentives
- Responsible for effective management of marketing budget for the accounts and monitoring and reporting on the ‘Return On Investment’
- Identify new business opportunities
- Work closely with the ‘Team Ireland’ key stakeholders in various departments to develop to ensure smooth running of Ireland operating plan
- To ensure all three brands are truly represented in all sales activity and co-op activity
- Monitor and report competitor activity, pricing and marketing
- Prepare and host client educational trips, i.e. seminars at sea, ship launches, ship visits, etc
- Attend and man stands at travel industry exhibitions or any other events as required
- Prepare weekly sales reports for the Head of Sales
- Attend sales meetings and present on sales territory
- To have an effective call plan in place driven by the Boston Matrix structure
- To keep an online diary updated
- Offer cover when the Head of Ireland Sales is on leave
Experience requirements are:
- Minimum five years’ travel experience
- Minimum two years’ sales management experience
- Proven success in the development of key account management and acquisition strategy
- Large matrix organisation experience preferable
- Cruise industry experience preferable
