Emirates and Dubai Tourism teamed up last week to entertain the travel trade at the Fitzwilliam Hotel in Dublin on Wednesday and at the Clarion Hotel in Cork on Thursday. Welcoming guests to the Fitzwilliam Hotel, Emirates’ Country Manager – Ireland, Margaret Shannon, said that the earlier than planned introduction of the B777 to the airline’s Dublin – Dubai route has provided a 52% increase in Economy Class seats – and reported that April and May figures were “fantastic”, while June was “looking good”.
