The latest two recruits to join Travel Counsellors Ireland have been learning how the company plans to support their travel businesses.
Phyllis Walters from Drumcondra and Kate Moore from Carrigaline attended the company’s three-day induction programme last week. Having spent most of her working life in the travel industry, primarily in Prima Travel and JWT, Phyllis says she is bowled over by the level of support offered and the technology at her fingertips. “I was amazed by how agent friendly the Travel Counsellors’ systems are and how professional the team were at the head offices in Cork and Bolton.
Kate, who worked with Beacon Travel in Cork for many years, and Phyllis learnt how to use the company’s systems and state-of-the-art technology, including its own dynamic packaging system Phenix, which allows agents to tailor-make holidays using the company’s own consolidated fares and accommodation choices.
Bernie Whelan from Travel Counsellors Ireland Head Office in Cork said: “Here at Travel Counsellors we have seen a number of travel professionals looking to make the move to run their own businesses from home as part of a model that offers unparalleled support and technology so they are able to focus on building relationships with their customers and actually selling travel. That is what makes us different and we are delighted to welcome Phyllis andKate to our Irish TC family.”
