A new Passport for Patrons of Castilla and León in Spain has been launched, and can be got in all the relevant tourist offices. Promoting the heritage cities of Ávila, Segovia and Salamanca, it allows visitors to have their special passports stamped in each city. They are then given the honorary title of Patron of Castilla and León, and are designated members of a special loyalty club through which they are given regular tourism information, as well as discounts in a variety of establishments in the region.
The Spanish World Heritage Cities Group is an association of 13 cities whose monumental sites have been awarded the World Heritage designation by UNESCO. The association was created in 1993 and is formed by the cities of Alcalá de Henares, Avila, Cáceres, Cordoba, Cuenca, Ibiza, Merida, Salamanca, San Cristóbal de la Laguna, Santiago de Compostela, Segovia, Tarragona and Toledo.

Features include a full HD integrated dynamic gallery of images of the island, intelligent language recognition, an integrated booking centre, real time weather display, and full integration with social networks and Google Maps. It also offers a professional web application system for tourism professionals.
