John Galligan Travel (JGT) is offering over-50s who love cruising but hate flying three opportunities to cruise out of Dublin.

JGT has arranged a special eight-night cruise departure from Dublin on 23rd July, operated by Saga Cruises, which will return to Belfast, with coach transfer back to Dublin.

“We have been totally amazed at the demand for this cruise,” said John Galligan. “We launched it a few weeks ago and already we are having to look at larger coaches to bring everyone down from Belfast to Dublin after the cruise. Clients are telling us how they hate airports and airlines and that a no-fly cruise like this is manna from heaven.”

The cruise will visit two of the Faroe Islands, the Orkney Islands and the Outer Hebridies. Prices start at €1,159, with the coach from Belfast to Dublin at a small additional charge.

JGT has also arranged two Dublin-Dublin cruises for October with Cruise & Maritime Voyages. The 3-star Ocean Countess will depart from Dublin on a 10-night cruise visiting Spain and Portugal, with prices from €899, and on a 13-night cruise visiting Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Canary Islands and Madeira, from €1,139.
