When children are happy, their parents are happy – and the key to keeping children happy, according to ferry operator Irish Ferries, is to give them plenty to do to keep their minds occupied. It is against this backdrop that the company has expanded the range of fun things for children to do on board its services to the UK and France.
On summer sailings to France from 2nd June there is a new children’s treasure hunt, a magic show, kiddies disco and entertainers, as well as games and play areas. Children’s menus are available in food outlets – and on sailings from France drawing and colouring sessions are held each morning.
On services to the UK, free wi-fi, games and a play zone are among the entertainments to keep children engaged.
“Our aim is to keep children entertained. We believe that when children are enjoying themselves, parents will enjoy themselves even more, creating stress-free travel all year round,” said Head of Passenger Sales, Declan Mescall.
