WestJet to Commence Non-Stop Atlanta Service from Calgary

WestJet will begin a daily year-round service between Calgary International Airport (YYC) and Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) from 7th April 2019. This will provide a one-stop Dublin – Atlanta service (with an overnight stop in Calgary) when the three-times-weekly Dublin-Calgary Dreamliner service commences on 2nd June 2019.

“Being able to access Atlanta, the world’s busiest airport, direct from Calgary is a strategic advantage that will allow our guests more access to the USA and connect to more places in the world,” said Bob Sartor, President and Chief Executive, Calgary Airport Authority. “We thank WestJet for this further investment and for providing another way to travel to and from Canada.”

WestJet will be the only airline to fly non-stop from Calgary to ATL, home of Delta Air Lines, a WestJet codeshare partner since 2011. Together with Delta, via Hartsfield-Jackson Airport, WestJet will offer codeshare access to an extensive list of US destinations including the southeastern United States and Gulf Coast and cities such as Memphis, Tenn., Charleston, S.C., New Orleans, La., Savannah, Ga., Pensacola and Panama City, Fla.
