Lufthansa will be adding a fourth daily flight on its Dublin-Frankfurt service next winter. Operated by A320 aircraft, the additional flight will increase capacity on the route by around 30% when introduced from the start of the winter timetable on Sunday 29th October 2017.
Andreas Koester, Senior Director Sales UK, Ireland & Iceland, Lufthansa Group, said: “Dublin has continued to shine as a key market for Lufthansa within our network. The demand for our services has continued to grow and we have been able to increase capacity accordingly.
“This, along with the recent introduction Lufthansa’s double-daily service between Dublin and Munich, a weekly service from Shannon to Frankfurt, and the twice-weekly service between Cork and Geneva with Swiss, reaffirms the Lufthansa Group as biggest foreign airline group in Ireland. The growing demand for seats on our flights proves once again that discerning travellers appreciate the way Lufthansa has responded to the challenges of the travel market in the face of ever-increasing competition.
“To maintain the leading position in our market we must be better than anyone else in terms of reliability and innovation at a competitive price. Our passengers also know that when they book with Lufthansa they are guaranteed to receive our high quality onboard service.”
Return fares between Dublin and Frankfurt are available from €128 at lufthansa.com and all include Lufthansa’s high quality product that provides all passengers with their seat, hold and cabin baggage allowances, in-flight food and drink, the ability to check-in online, from their mobile phone or at the airport and all taxes and charges for one all-inclusive fare.
