Who will take over the title of ITTN Travel Agency of the Year from last year’s winner, J Barter Travel Group? Irish Travel Trade News is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s four Regional Awards – and hence the contenders for the overall 2016 National Award.
The panel of judges – Joan Scales, The Irish Times; Sinead Grace, Tourism Ireland; Michael Flood, ITTN; and Neil Steedman, ITTN – met in Grant Thornton’s office yesterday under the independent chairmanship of Stephen Murray, and selected the following Regional Award winners:
Leinster Region – Trailfinders
Munster Region – Harvey Travel
Connaught Region – Fahy Travel
Ulster Region – Clubworld Travel
The judges also selected an overall National Award winner from the above four and the winner will be announced at the Irish Travel Trade Awards Gala Dinner at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin – Burlington Road (formerly the Burlington Hotel) on Friday 25th November 2016.
