Dublin Airport has welcomed the launch of the Cyprus-based Cobalt airline’s new direct service to Larnaca.
The new seasonal route will depart Dublin twice weekly, and will operate on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
“We are delighted to work with Cobalt to provide a direct service to Larnaca for the summer season, offering further choice and flexibility for passengers,” said Vincent Harrison, Dublin Airport Managing Director. “Cyprus is a very popular destination for Irish holidaymakers, attracting more than 70,000 Irish tourists annually. We are very confident that there will be strong demand for this new route.”
Dublin Airport has had charter services to Cyprus in the past, but this will be its first direct scheduled service to the island. Cobalt’s new Dublin – Larnaca route will be Dublin Airport’s 17th new service this year.
