Air Canada has great connections to Cuba over Toronto, so Eamon Flanagan brought a group of leading travel agents on a most interesting fam trip to the Caribbean Island. Many Irish passengers are availing of the advantage of a Toronto layover on the inbound journey, and luggage can be checked through to Dublin at departure in Cuba.
They can then board the newly opened Union Pearson rail express at Toronto Airport and within 25 minutes they can be having lunch in the CN Tower, overlooking Lake Ontario.
Air Canada serves five destinations in Cuba and, in addition, Air Canada provides its passengers with Cuban tourist cards in-flight on a complimentary basis.
The ground arrangements for the trip were handled by Gordon Penney, Cuba Travel, in 5-star hotels on a fully inclusive basis.
Eamon Flanagan said that Irish traffic into this market continues to perform well.
