The Commission for Aviation Regulation (CAR) has issued the timetable and advice to applicants for travel agent and tour operator licences in the autumn licensing round and has also issued three new travel agent licences, reissued another and made changes to four other listings.
Licence holders are strongly advised to read CN2/2015 in full and to ensure that applications and any supporting documentation required are submitted on time to avoid levies that may be incurred.
Key dates for submission of required data:

NB: This round will be processed using a new version of the online licensing system that is compatible with the following browsers: Microsoft Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Safari. This new interface looks slightly different from the previous one but should result in faster processing and interaction for applicants. All those applicants renewing should be in possession of valid usernames and passwords.

New Travel Agent Licences
Green Light Travel Ltd, Suite 29, The Mall, Sandyford Industrial Estate, Dublin 18, Tel: 01 290 0000, was issued with licence number 0754 on 15th June 2015, expiring on 30th April 2016.
Oasis Travel (NI) Ltd, with two branches in Belfast at Howard Street and Lisburn Road, and three others in Lisburn, Bangor and Holywood, was issued with licence number 0755 on 3rd July 2015, expiring on 31st October 2015.
Green Life Tours Ltd, 16 Redmond’s Hill, Aungier Street, Dublin 2, Tel: 01 525 2886, trading as Francigena Ways, Camino Ireland, Camino Ways, Explore World Heritage, Ireland Ways and Rustic Rambles, was issued with licence number 0756 on 15th July 2015, expiring on 30th April 2016.
Apex Travel Consulting Ltd t/a GPS Travel had licence number 0709 reissued on 28th May 2015, expiring on 30th April 2016.
Changes to Listings
Manasik Tours Ltd (0688) has an additional branch at 80 Clanbrassil Street Lower, Dublin 8.
The company name for licence 0231 has changed from Seatem (Ireland) Ltd (trading as Keith Prowse Tickets and Travel Places, among others) to Travel Direction Ltd.
The listing for World Travel Centre Ltd (0388) has had three branch addresses deleted (42 Baggot Street Lower, Dublin 2; 10 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2; and Unit 1, Sui Finn House, Cookstown Industrial Estate, Tallaght, Dublin 24) and two new ones added (43 Pearse Street, Dublin 2, and Plaza Complex, Belgard Road, Tallaght, Dublin 24).
Simplysun Ltd (0252) had two new trading names in addition to ClickandGo: Holidays with Aer Lingus and Independent Travel.
So two licensed travel agents now have Independent Travel listed as trading names – Simplysun Ltd and Linevana Ltd t/a Cassidy Travel (0167) – while P&P Associates Ltd (0752) has the trading name of Independent.ie Travel, and Independent Travel Consultants Ltd (0555) has Independent Travel Consultants.
