Transavia, the low-cost airline of the Air France-KLM Group, has flown its first flight from Dublin to Paris-Orly, the nearest airport to the centre of Paris. The airport’s light railway, the Orlyval, connects to the extensive Paris rail network, including the RER and Métro.
The launch event in Dublin was hosted by (above) Marion Silva Romos, Transavia; Vanessa Renaud-Elliot, Atout France; Nicholas Henin, Hervé Kozar, and Bruno Delhomme, all Transavia.
Fares from Dublin to Paris-Orly start from €40 one-way including taxes. The flight will operate daily departing Dublin at 07.50 on Saturday and 19.55 every other day.
Hervé Kozar, Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are very glad to open a new route between Dublin and Paris-Orly. We believe very strongly in the Dublin route and we want to stay and grow further in the coming months.”
Transavia is bookable for travel agents through all major GDS platforms. This summer the airline will operate 73 routes from four French airports (Paris-Orly Sud, Nantes, Lyon and Strasbourg) including nine new destinations.
