One of Travel Counsellors Ireland’s newest partners, destination management company EASIA, was declared TCI’s Business Partner of the Year at its 10th anniversary conference, while Sarah McCarthy was nominated Best Travel Counsellor.
The conference, with the theme ‘Be Inspired’, was held at the 4-star Carton House Hotel & Spa in Lucan, Co Dublin, and attended by nine head office staff, 51 Travel Counsellors with 26 partners, 56 suppliers representing 48 companies, and two travel media.
The business sessions included a motivational presentation by Caroline Casey, the blind author of ‘Becoming Forever Conscious’, which brought tears to many faces.
Other award-winning Travel Counsellors on the night were Rosemary Chawke, Best TC Package Sales; Mary Foyle, Best Phenix; Jennifer O’Brien, Best Margin; Blaithin Watson, Best Newcomer; Lynne Keane, Best Business Increase; and Jennifer O’Brien, Best Corporate Sales.
