Trailfinders staff ‘Discovered Thainess” at the Red Torch Ginger restaurant where typical Thai hospitality by Tourism Authority of Thailand, ably supported by Etihad Airways, ensured a great night.
Joanna Cooke from TAT and Shannon O’Dowd from Etihad were the excellent presenters to the special ‘Thank You’ gathering for Trailfinders staff. Joanna stressed that in spite of Martial Law there were no concerns for the safety of holiday makers to Thailand.
Irish numbers were up and weddings and honeymoons were major events. New product was being introduced all the time and most popular were active holidays and, of course, golf.
Shannon O’Dowd from Etihad introduced the new celebrity Etihad Ambassador Nicole Kidman who is starring in the new advertising campaign with the tagline ‘Flying re-imagined’.
New services from London to Abu Dhabi with the A380 are now running and June will see the A380 fly from Abu Dhabi to Sydney.
Dublin – Abu Dhabi double daily with A330 and B777 continues to operate successfully.
This was a great way for Tourism Authority of Thailand and Etihad to show their appreciation to the Trailfinders staff and Dave Hayeems was most gracious in his thank you speech to both hosts.
