The Travel Corporation has announced two staff changes and has also launched Insight Vacation’s 2014/15 Autumn Winter & Spring Europe – offering guests an Early Payment Discount of up to 7.5% off selected 2014/15 Winter Europe tours when they book and pay in full by 17th July 2014.

Sharon Jordan, Country Manager, said: “We are delighted to announce that we have a new member of the team, Rosanna Leary, as Sales and Marketing Executive based at our office in Dublin – but, of course, we are very sorry to see Jessie (Jessica Byrne) go.

“Rosanna joins TTC from Google where she has worked for a number of years. However, her true passion lies in the travel industry, having previously worked in sales and marketing roles in Spain and South America.

Rosanna brings with her a wealth of experience to this role that will benefit us greatly here and strengthen our continued brand development and partnership with travel agents across the country.”

Meanwhile, Insight Vacations has launched its 2014/15 Autumn Winter & Spring Europe brochure, including the Eastern Mediterranean and Christmas Markets.

The new programme includes 34 holidays now featuring a host of Signature inclusions ranging from hotels, dining and experiences while providing great value to guests travelling during low season.

Sharon Jordan said: “We received such positive feedback on our Signature inclusions after introducing them last year, so we are very excited to be adding them to our European winter programme. This means our guests can look forward to staying in the most distinctive hotels throughout Europe, enjoying authentic experiences with passionate characters such as farmers and artists, and tasting the local specialities and produce of the regions they are visiting.”

The programme features hotel upgrades in Prague, Mainz, Seville, Madrid, Lisbon and Casablanca. Signature properties include the luxurious Hilton Molino Stucky Venice offering uninterrupted views of the lagoon; the unique Art Nouveau Palace Hotel Prague embodying elegant Viennese facades; and the superbly located Melia Castilla Madrid, located minutes from Paseo de la Castellana.

“Our Signature experiences have really been brought to the fore in the popular Christmas market itineraries. This year our guests won’t just be visiting some of the best markets in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland, they will have the chance to meet and greet a market stall holder in Dresden and learn about Gluhwein and Stollen bread. Signature experiences on other itineraries include a paella cooking demonstration in Valencia with a master chef and a visit to a strudel house in Budapest to learn the art of making the Hungarian delicacy.
