Annabel Cove, Business Development Manager, DoSomethingDifferent.com, was “very surprised and absolutely thrilled” last night when she was presented with Travel Counsellors Ireland’s Business Partner of the Year Award by Cathy Burke, General Manager, at the TCI ‘Switch On’ conference at the Lyrath Estate Hotel in Kilkenny.
The well-organised conference was held in a great venue and concluded with the gala dinner sponsored by Royal Caribbean International and Celebrity Cruises. Annabel told Irish Travel Trade News: “I feel elated! Two and a half years of hard work have built up to this brilliant testament to what DoSomethingDifferent offers. Travel Counsellors are our number one client in Ireland – that’s because they know the true meaning of added value, which is what our business is all about.”
Earlier in the day, at the lunch sponsored by Travelport, Sinead Reilly and David Conlon presented Sinead Daly with an iPad for her winning Travel Diary entitled ‘Georgia on My Mind’.
