Turkish Airlines is introducing “a new era” in its Miles&Smiles frequent flyer programme, with new rules that include earning Miles from all tickets including promotional tickets. 
Mile earning will be determined over the fare class of the ticket, members can earn more Miles from domestic flight tickets, and Classic Plus, Elite and Elite Plus members will earn 25% more Miles in Comfort and Business classes.
When upgrading, now all Economy classes can upgrade from the same Mile value.
When spending Miles, there will be more Limited Capacity Award Ticket availability for any flight; low-high season difference will not be applied in Seat Guaranteed Award Tickets; a one-way award ticket can be issued with only 50% of Miles to be redeemed for round-trip award ticket; and the same award ticket chart will be used for Turkish Airlines and Star Alliance member airlines.
