Aircraft manufacturer Airbus is targeting having its aircraft up to 100% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) capable by 2030 – just four years time.
Following a new order from Air Canada, last week, Airbus said its A350 plane is already able to operate with up to 50% SAF.
As of the end of January, Airbus said the A350 fleet had won more than 1,500 orders from nearly 70 customers around the world.
